Donkey, the Sleepyhead
Donkey keeps sleeping through the morning despite help from a cow, a dog, a rooster and a crow. Their loud calls seem useless, until a much smaller visitor arrives. Donkey, the Sleepyhead builds a repeated animal-sound pattern toward a surprise. Ask your child to predict each attempt and explain why the last one is different.
