What makes a storybook interactive?
In Pupila’s interactive reader, your child can move through illustrated pages and listen to the story. In supported books, tapping a word plays its audio, so a reader can hear it again while looking at the page.
That gives you several ways to share the same book: read the words aloud yourself, listen together, or pause on a word your child wants to explore. The available audio and word interactions depend on the book.

Can we read together instead of listening?
Yes. You can read the illustrated pages together and choose whether to use the available narration. Turn off Auto Play when you want to set the pace yourself.
Are all books free?
No. Sign in and choose a book marked free to try Pupila. Other books require an active subscription. Check the app for the current free selection and subscription prices.
Does Pupila work on iPhone and Android?
Pupila is available from the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and from Google Play for Android. Reading happens inside the app; the website helps you discover books.
Can we use downloaded books offline?
Download the book in the app while connected. Paid downloaded books require valid subscription access for the signed-in account, and you may need to reconnect to renew access verification.
